Governing Youth Council

Description: The Governing Youth Councils are youth networking groups which operate at various Utah high schools. These groups plan and coordinate activities to promote positive youth lifestyles. The objective of this program is to initiate and coordinate drug free activities and coordinate and implement state substance abuse awareness campaigns. Also, GYC groups will implement programs addressing anti-violence, safety and be involved in service learning opportunities.
